Along side the textile products available at Illustrated Kat, I also have a strong passion for papercutting! This is inspired by my love for Victorian glasshouses. The contrasting strong, white iron work next to the explosion of plants creates a sense of escapism form the outside world. Using paper to explore this envrionment works perfectly as the top white layer traps the beautiful nature underneath.

Custom made papercuts!     

Using my papercutting skills, I have also created custom, personalised gifts through miniature papercuts. These are a really sweet idea for someone special or a unique gift for those particularly hard people to buy for. I create mini papercut art pieces which feature the customers favourite things. Previous orders have included Fathers and Mothers day gifts, couples ‘Favourite Places’ and many favourite plant designs. The options are limitless!

A custom papercut with 5 – 10 cuttings is £15 standard or £25 in a black or wooden frame. They come signed and with a miniature caption on textured paper, which is a lovely contrast with the block colours.
